Myles and I spent time yesterday lounging in bed. It was rainy and kind of dark, a perfect day to get in a little extra knitting time. Myles had other ideas. At first he stared intently out the window and growled a little in his throat. Then he got a little more agitated and growled loudly. Finally he started to bark. I looked out the window expecting to see a burglar scoping out the house or maybe a dog pacing in the neighbor’s driveway. Nope. It seems the neighbors have put up a new hanging plant basket on the corner of their garage and Myles was protecting me from it. Crazy dog!
I did get to knit though. I completed the first Twizzler sock and started the second one. The photo was taken in the car while I was waiting for N. The sky brightened just a bit so I grabbed the photo quick.

One of our dogs is the same, stares out the window, low growls, and barks to warn us of passers-by. Love the socks they are really nice.

Yep, my dog does that, too. It’s in their nature (especially for my dog…she’s half bulldog).

Protection is such an interesting occupation for a dog! Burglar plants, burglar lawn mowers…keeps them sharp! Lol
