I Can Live With It

Can you see the little mistake? I slipped a stitch wrong. It’s at the center of the sock in the top purple. Of course it’s highly visible because of the contrast of the blue and purple. This is camp which is supposed to be fun and relaxing so I’m going to ignore it and just keep going. It’s not going to be visible when I’m wearing the socks.

This pattern is very addictive to knit. It’s a three row repeat so I keep doing three rows and then three more rows. It goes very quickly. I’m already at 6 inches. I plan to go to 7. I think that will be long enough to insure I make the 400 yard requirement and still have a leg length that fits comfortably on my calf.

How’s your knitting going?

  3. I’d leave it alone. It’s not going to ruin the integrity of the garment.

That sounds like a very good plan! You’re talking about one little stitch out of hundreds, if not thousands of stitches. If you happen to see it someday when you’re washing your socks, you’ll have fond memories of your days at camp! 🙂

It’s camp! 😊 love the stripes on that yarn, the pattern you chose really sets them off nicely! Today, knitting is going better for me! I’m on the second diagram of the sleeve redo, and row 82 of the shawl. Time to put it away for a bit and do some sewing and the blog post for tomorrow. A good day so far!

That yarn is pretty, I always struggle with fixing small mistakes vs letting them go.

  10. I love the colors. My knits are slow at the moment: lace and cables! But I am in love with them 🙂
