FO on Monday

We had a quiet Easter at home. I cooked a boneless leg of lamb, mashed potatoes, gravy, carrots and asparagus. There were chocolate cupcakes for dessert. It was very tasty. Lamb could become a tradition since everyone enjoyed it.

As you can see by the horrible photo I completed my Hitchhiker Beyond which is my extra credit project for Loopy Academy. The requirement is to knit a pattern from your favorite designer with at least 200 yards of yarn. The pattern is by Martina Behm, one of my favorite designers. Her patterns are so well written and easy to follow. She includes photos to help with any special techniques in the pattern. The yarn is Knerd String fingering weight in Shade 2 of 50. It is quickly becoming my go to yarn. I love the colors and the base yarn. It’s a perfect match for the pattern.

  1. Happy.Easter. Your photos make it appear that you are in a very springy place! Enjoy. Nothing better than sitting in the sun with a bit of knitting on the go!

Congratulations! Do we get to see you wearing it? I am starting to consider a shawl for my MIL. She seems the shawl type and will be 81 in June…some thing like that might be a perfect gift….

I love this! It’s supersized! I have some yarn to make myself another HH. I love wearing them. Also now I’m craving some leg of lamb with mint jelly!

LOvely finish, Karen. It’s plucked out from a cloudy sky of warm temps and an oncoming rainstorm.

That looks so pretty hanging on your line! It is a lot longer than I thought it would be – can’t wait to try it!
