After we chatted yesterday I got out my ruler and found my gauge way off. Way, way off. See I knew I’d get got. But I ripped the stitches off the needle and cast on again on a smaller needle. Hopefully I can make this work.
Myles was groomed. Here he is sporting his hat and sweater (a very cheap set purchased at Target just before Christmas) right before he went tearing through the house trying to remove both with his teeth. I don’t think he’s knit-worthy.
Oh well, you tried! Even if you had done a swatch, it could have still been off when you started knitting (that’s why I hate swatching). Oh, what a stylish looking puppy! Too bad he didn’t like wearing it.

Well, at least the bite didn’t leave a big hole! And he is adorable! But my dogs, too, do not like hats. They will tolerate coats at least.

Good luck with the second cast on! It’s tough pulling it out to start again but you did the right thing. He may loathe that outfit, but dang he’s pretty cute in it. ha!

Oh dear. Well you did try – and it might have worked.
Myles looks fabulous. It’s a shame he doesn’t agree 😦
