There are few things I like to eat more than pie. Ice cream, maybe, depending on the flavor. Pie with ice cream is darn near perfect. Anyway, I recently baked a blueberry pie. Yum, blueberry is my all time favorite. I’m not going to share the recipe because it really wasn’t great. Yes, good pie is better than no pie but I won’t share a recipe that isn’t worth the effort. And let’s face it, pie takes effort. We ate the pie, of course, but I kept thinking of how much better it could have been. It needed the vanilla ice cream I served along side. So I am on a quest for a better blueberry pie. A thick filling is a must. Not too sweet but not too bitter. I’ll know it when I bake it. What are you questing for?
