An Old WIP to You FO to Me

I think I’ve reached the end of the things I’ve knit while I was away. This shawl had been knit way back in January and I did mention it here on the blog. The pattern is Miss Winkle by Martina Behm. The yarn is Sox from Good Karma Farm that I bought at the Fiber Festival of New England back in November. The yarn is fantastic. It’s soft and the colors lovely. I plan to check out their yarn again in November assuming I get back to the Fiber Festival. The pattern was a lot of fun to knit. I did have a little trouble figuring out how to twist the little loops the right way. I am a visual learner and had to check out the video on Martina’s web site a few times to get it right. It’s great having this sort of support from a designer. I enjoyed this pattern so much that I have some yarn from deep, deep stash that I plan to cast on soon. Anyone want to join in?

The adventurous side of me says yes!!! The accountable side of me reminds the other side of the umpteen items I already have on the needles and the umpteen items waiting their turn on the needles! A knitter’s life, is it ever uneventful? Lovely shawl.
