A Little Double Dipping

At the end of March we were given the opportunity to knit an extra credit project for Loopy Academy. The requirement was to use one of their exclusive yarns. I decided on The Loopy Ewe Loopy Legends yarn in Terri’s behind Charlie’s garden. The April Loopy’s Monthly Mixer was to knit a project by your favorite designer. I immediately thought of Martina Behm. I love her designs. They are wearable and fashionable. My pattern choice was Hitchhiker. I can totally understand why nearly 25,000 knitters have made this. It’s easy to knit and easy to wear. I will be knitting another for sure. The yarn is lovely and soft. Martina has a new variation on Hitchhiker called Hitchhiker Beyond and it too looks fantastic!.

  1. This is gorgeous, such a lovely pattern. It always seems to knit to pretty when using a striped yarn. Love it. 🙂

very nice! I have knit a hitchhiker and have plans for a second one, you are right, it is a great pattern, and adapts well to different yarn weights and quantities, too.
