Gardening 2015

The Husband spent some time at the garden center and bought some things to plant. He then spent a few hours digging in the dirt. He put in a good assortment this year. We have cherry tomatoes, broccoli, eggplant, celery, green beans, yellow beans, bell  and habaneros peppers. It should be a bumper crop if the critters don’t get to it before us.

Here is how the Clematis looks this year. It suffered a bit with our many feet of snow but looks like it’s going to be OK. As you can see the lawn didn’t survive. We had so much snow piled on the lawn and a ton of road sand and salt. We’ve raked and will be putting down seed over and over. If nothing else the birds will be well fed.

The Husband also picked up some flowers to go under the light pole along with the Clematis. I really like the Zinnias. They are so happy. We’ll check back with all of this in a month or so and see how it’s going.

Nice looking garden and flowers! You’ll be eating lots of fresh veggies soon! Is that wysteria in the background of your garden photo? It’s beautiful whatever it is.
