Reading Books

When I pick N up at school everyday I have to arrive early or I end up parking in Timbuktu at the end of the street where he would never venture to find me. Arriving early means having something to do to pass the time. I’ve considered knitting but I have time to do that in my normal day and I wanted something to do that I usually didn’t have time for. Or really chose not to do in my free time. I decided to try the iBooks app in my phone. At first I couldn’t convince myself that reading a book on my phone would be enjoyable. I figured the print would be tiny and I’d tire of touching to turn the pages. There is timing with that compared to just turning a paper page. I first downloaded a few free dog mysteries. They are my favorite and I knew I could muddle through those no matter what. Once I had finished those I moved on to some nonfiction and some regular mysteries. I hate to admit how much I enjoy reading electronically. I thought I’d miss the pages and the smell of the paper. For the most part I just get sucked into the story and don’t even notice. Here is a list of some of what I’ve read. They are all free on iBooks and some are free for Kindle.
