A Couple New Acquisitions

I’ve been very mindful of not buying too much yarn unless I have a specific project planned. The stash box is over flowing! I was doing really well until Beth mentioned that she had bought some String Theory Colorworks yarn. Well I went to The Loopy Ewe web site to just see what she bought and I saw how pretty it was and how there were a few that I really liked. Well didn’t a skein jump into my cart and I just had to get it. The color is White Dwarf. The blues, gray and white hits all my favorite colors wrapped up together. How could I say no.

I received my gift for Camp Loopy 2014 and it has joined the stash. It is a skein of Mrs Crosby hat box in toasted s’mores. I was able to pick from 3 color choices and I decided to go a completely new way. I very rarely buy browns and I thought this would be a good choice.

I have no plans to purchase any more yarn in the near future but I’m not against it.

Both skeins are so pretty. And the brown does look like s’mores. Yummy!

  2. Gorgeous. How could you have left them in the shop – they just had to be brought home!

I didn’t plan to not buy yarn this year, and it’s a good thing cause I have bought more than I needed! But, I can say a lot of what I bought was put to immediate use. So there is that. LOL Pretty brown!!!
