As I was saying yesterday I have cast on new socks. They are my comfort knitting that I pull out whenever I feel a bit overwhelmed. They get a few rows done on them very day, even if it’s in the last 15 minutes before bed.
The socks aren’t the only thing I have actively on the needle. I am also working on my final Loopy Academy project, the mittens. This is the pattern. The yarn is Cascade 220 worsted in charcoal grey. I’m really happy with the way they are coming along and I should hurry up and get them done because the weather has taken a turn for the colder and I could really use these when I head out in the morning to take N to school.

Lovely. Stay warm there and take care. 🙂

Great mittens!
Even having my knitting close by helps me feel better if I’m stressed. It goes with me almost everywhere. 🙂

Very pretty. I’ve been thinking of casting on a new pair of fingerless mitts since the temperatures have cooled.

I’m really beginning to understand the healing properties of sock knitting this year.
I get it. I dig it.

Can’t go wrong with vanilla. I like your two at a time method. I’m tempted to get another set of DPNs so I won’t have second sock syndrome.
