These beauties were peeking out from under some leaves in my mother’s yarn on Saturday. I was pleased to see them but I don’t think it’s spring quite yet since we had another dusting of snow last night and the weather report calls for two more snow events this week. Spring, where are you?

Wow! I haven’t seen any crocus yet. Your mom must have a nice warm, sunny spot. Our whole yard is still buried in snow or ice. But it is so good to know that those pretty little flowers are just waiting to pop under there!

What a great thing to have under your yarn! HAHAH such an appropriate typo for a knitting blog!

Wow! I am incredulous! People I know in Ireland keep talking about daffodils and I scoff!

I don’t think it’s spring yet either but what a wonderful sign that it is on it’s way! So pretty. πŸ™‚
BTW I love that you put yarn instead of yard. πŸ˜€

I was excited yesterday to find a patch of crocus too that the birds or squirrels had replanted in the yard. Come on spring!

Pretty! And I love reading everyone’s excitement for spring. Winter/Spring whatever, please send California some more rain!

What a vivid pop of color.

Clearly Karen, you still have winter knitting on your mind – a typist’s slip “in my mother’s yarn”? Lol – still, love the image and although late winter is still see-sawing and toying with us, at least there are signs of new life hidden out there πŸ™‚

  9. Stunningly beautiful. Writing to you from SA, we are keeping Spring just a little longer. Will send her your way soon. πŸ™‚
