I’m Blaming It On The Weather

FYI: it’s even brighter in person

Yesterday The Husband, N and I ran to Michael’s to get a few things for a cub scout meeting and a project for school. I am helpless when yarn is in the vicinity so I HAD to go wander though the yarn department. On the first trip through I walked away with nothing but the men folk were taking their time dithering over a couple of things and I went back to look at the yarn again. It was on that second walk though that I spotted this yarn. It’s bright and screams sunny hot days. There was no stopping me once I saw that it was on clearance. The yarn is Loops & Threads luxury sock in balloons. I don’t know what I’ll knit with it but it makes me think that we could possibly have warm days in the future and at this point I need that.

Oh yes! Crazy over-the-top bright colors – because damn, will this cold snap ever let up!

We so desperately need some warmth and brightness to lift the spirits right about now – so cheers to you! Enjoy! And dream and play with the wool – it is gorgeous 🙂

Ooh! Love how there’s a spot of cash in it. I’ll be looking for that on my next trip to Michael’s.
