WIP Wednesday: Squeezing It All In

I’ve been watching the Olympics. Have you? We DVR as much of it as we can and then watch the events that we are interested in. So far we’ve been enjoying cross country skiing, speed skating and curling. I love seeing people who have competed in the past return to compete again. I’ve  also been trying to catch the Westminster Dog Show too. It’s really hard to squeeze it all in. Fortunately I’ve got my knitting keeping me company. I’ve spent all my knitting time working on the crescent shawl/scarf. Last night I did the row before the bind off. Of course I made some time to look at the new patterns on Ravelry and now I’m wondering if maybe I should have used this yarn to knit this hat. Or maybe that’s my cold ears talking.

It’s always fun to bind off a shawl so you get to see what you’ve really got! It’s looking great. 🙂
    Happy pattern hunting!

I’ve been watching a lot of the Olympics while I spin. Can’t wait to see your finished shawl/scarf.

I would say which project would you use more? Nice, squishy grey.

I really like that hat! But your shawl is coming right along. Maybe you’ll find some other yarn to use for the hat (??).

I haven’t made much of an effort to tune in to the Olympics. I feel a little guilty about it, but I haven’t had time to sit down in front of the television lately. It was smart to DVR the events you’re interested in watching.

Love the colour you’ve used! Looking forward to seeing it finished! I’ve been watching lots of the Olympics – I love them! I get quite emotional when people win, it’s so wonderful to see all they’re hard work pay off!
