Gobsmacked

So a couple of weeks ago Pat had gotten in touch with me and asked if I would be comfortable giving her my address because she wanted to send me a little something. We had been commenting on each other’s blogs and really had become friends. A short time later a package arrived in the mail and I was floored. Her kindness and generosity is amazing to me. She sent a near stranger an amazing gift. Yes, there is yarn and stitch markers and wonderful post cards but more than that she has shown me that there is good in the world. People are nice and not everyone is cruel and heartless. I can’t even describe the way I felt when I opened the package. There are no words. Stunned, amazed, cared about. None of them are adequate. Thank you Pat for the yarn and stitch markers and post cards but mostly for returning my faith in people. There is good in the world.
