My Camp Prize

I received my prize for participating in all the requirements of Camp Loopy. It is a beautiful skein of Lorna’s Laces Solemate in Blue Skies Over Colorado. The Solemate yarn has 30% Outlast which aids with temperature regulation. I’m very excited to try this since my feet tend to be either hot or cold, usually cold, and the Outlast should help with that. Whether it works or not doesn’t matter because I really just like trying new yarn.

I got the pinkish one! I’ve wanted to try this line of Lorna’s Laces. I haven’t had many good experiences with Lorna’s Laces in general but I’m hopeful this time. Btw, Beth just knew you would choose the blue! Lol

Congrats on finishing Camp Loopy! That’s amazing. I love that yarn – the color is gorgeous. I am interested to hear about the temperature control once you get going, I have never heard of that before. Leave it to Lorna’s to use it.

What a fabulous prize! You’ve reminded me I have a skein of Solemate that I’ll have to use and try out for my footsies.
