Look it’s blue!
I suspect this may be the project where I bite off more than I can chew, er, knit. You know what I mean. The third project requirement is to knit something with 800 yards of yarn. Immediately I thought of knitting a sweater. Yes, I know a sweater will take more than 800 yards but I have had this particular pattern bouncing around in my head for a while and this was the perfect excuse to buy the yarn for it. The pattern is Topeka. If you’ve been around here for a while you know I’ve mentioned this pattern before here, and here and here. The yarn I decided on is Cascade superwash sport in Westpoint blue heather. So starting August 1st we’ll see if I can in fact start and finish a sweater in a month or at all based on my recent track record. But first I have to finish my Camp Loopy Project #2.

Camp Loopy sounds like a lot of fun. Topeka will look lovely in that blue. I’d have a lot of fun picking buttons.

Oh, I love that pullover pattern! It looks like a great layering piece for fall the way the ladies at Kelbourn Woolens have it styled. It’s going to be gorgeous in blue.

I love any and all Cascade yarns and that pattern should be quick. Do you knit Continental or English? I really need to improve my Continental skills so I can knit quicker.
