You know how sometimes when you’re working on a project you spend the entire time questioning. Why did I pick this yarn? Why did I sign up for this KAL? Why did I pick this pattern? How many more rows until I’m done? I can honestly say I didn’t ask a single negative question the entire time I knit my Multnomah. The pattern is so easy to follow and well written. The yarn I ordered from The Loopy Ewe, Swan Island Natural Colors in slate, is lovely. The yarn feels nice when knitting with it and even better once it’s been blocked. Trying a new yarn and a new pattern was a total win. The combination of yarn and pattern make for a perfect finished item.

It’s gorgeous and I’m jealous. I hope to make another shawl someday…you know, after I block the one I already have 🙂

That color is too subtle for me; seeing way too much of it in the weather right now too 🙂

It’s gorgeous! Mine’s still blocking at the moment but I’m hoping to show it off next week. It’s such a great pattern isn’t it, really enjoyable to knit 🙂

It’s so awesome when a project is fun all the way through! And when you’re happy with the FO, too, well. Is there anything better than that? Great shawl.

It’s so lovely now that it’s done, although I imagine it might have been tedious through the body of the shawl. Doesn’t it go with everything in your wardrobe? And such a classic neutral – you could dress that up or down!

That is a great opinion to share. You must definitely post that on the project page.

But I have to admit that when the image first loaded … I thought … holy hell that’s a huge bat! LOL … Seriously though … it is subtly divine. I’m glad that it turned out to be such a wonderful experience from start to finish.
