First the color in this photo is so wrong. I just can’t capture the turquoise correctly. I tried to adjust it but I can’t even fake the color.
Anyway, this is what I have been knitting at lacrosse practice. The socks are working up quite quickly considering I can’t remember the pattern. There are too many rows and my brain doesn’t have room for that at this time. I am overjoyed with the way they are coming out. I plan to pick up some new solid color yarn so I can knit more patterned socks.
The yarn is Sensations Truly in turquoise. The pattern is Angee by Cookie A. Here is a sneak peak of what I’m thinking of casting on next.

I love that book, all the socks are amazing. I need more solid sock yarns, but it’s so hard when there are so many pretty painted ones!

Aren’t those the best colors ever? I love it when they are so vibrant the camera cannot capture them

Still looking lovely. But they don’t look anything like a lacrosse stick thingie. Especially the one with the opening, I can’t imagine that is effective at all. 😉

I’m getting inspired to cast on a pair of socks for my dh…so many socks on the yarn along today. Yours are coming along nicely! And it is frustrating to not be able to accurately capture colors. Happy knitting, ~Lisa

The pattern is really pretty. I laughed when I read that you “didn’t have room for” the pattern. I feel that way a lot.

Wow! You knit these at a Lacrosse practice? I’m impressed. I can handle plain vanilla socks or an easy little cable. Nice job!

The socks look great and the next pair does too! When I photo turquoise it comes out greenish…yours looks more blue. Go figure! 🙂
I’m just itching to do some lace knitting. I’ve decided that I really need a laceweight stash. 😉
