After posting Wednesday about the voice in my head being so doubtful about the sock I had to post today to show you that yes, I win! The sock fits pretty well. It is a bit loose at the toe but I suspect that some washing and wearing will solve that problem. The yarn is Premier Yarns Serenity sock in lavender. The pattern is Red Vine/Blackjack by Rachel M. Blaine. The yarn has been great and the pattern a pleasure to knit. I have already cast on the second sock so I better get back to it.
I’ve included an extra photo so you can see how the sock looks in slightly better lighting and how the pattern looks moving down the leg/foot.

Nicely done…another sock pattern to add to my queue

It feels so good when you’re doubting a project but then it works out just fine, doesn’t it? It looks great.

I’m glad it came out so well! I was going to knit this pattern with some hand dyed yarn, but it wasn’t going to work out so it’s on the back burner.

Very nice! I just made my first pair but it was with knitting worsted and just an ankle sock. Yours are gorgeous! I’ll make one more pair like that and then maybe I can graduate to something prettier…like yours!
