So I have this plan to teach Teresa to knit a sweater. She’s buying yarn and I’ve picked out some yarn and we’re going to knit the same pattern, this one, together. I’ve knit it before. I know it works/fits and can be customized. I wear mine all the time. Really I’m doing this for good. Teresa needs to knit a sweater for herself. It’s what makes a knitter, a Knitter (notice the capital K there). It’s the next step. She needs to make that step. But I’m a little afraid I’m trying to avoid the two sweaters I have in progress, not that they’ve seen any progress from me in a while. Really I’ll get back to them. I’m just doing it for the children, I mean Teresa. So I guess what I’m saying is I’m going to cast on a new sweater and there is nothing wrong with that. *Was that thunder? I hope I’m not struck by lightning.*
Hahaha, Karen! You crack me up. 😀
It’s a good thing to knit the same thing at the same time and your pattern selection is perfect. Buuttt…I wanna see the sweater with all the cables get finished. (I’m just greedy that way. 😉 )

Oh, I get it now….This whole thing is just so you can avoid working on your other sweaters!!!! Well, whatever the reason, I am thankful that you are taking the time to help me become a Knitter, a real Knitter. You are a very, very brave woman….. I hope I am a worthy student. And, no, I didn’t hear any thunder!

It’s not avoiding other projects if it involves teaching others 🙂

I keep thinking I will make a basic cardigan one day. And then I go for intricate patterns! Oh well. Love the yarn! And the last time I played twister I think I took out a 2 year old with my leg!
