WIP Monday

Since I don’t know if Sheldon will still be a WIP on Wednesday I thought I would share him today. Meet the parts of Sheldon sitting on the window sill because at this time of the morning there is no natural light in the house except on the window sill. When I first started knitting Sheldon I was a bit discouraged because knitting worsted weight yarn on size 3 needles makes my hands and wrists ache. Once I had completed the body and moved on to the neck my hands and wrists felt a bit better and I knew I could get through the rest. As a side note, I don’t think the Berroco Comfort yarn was helping. It is all fake stuff with no give to speak of. The legs were pretty easy, completed in a couple of hours while taking a few breaks. The shell I started last night. It too is pretty easy and I think with a little dedication I could have it done today. That will leave sewing on the legs and putting together the whole shebang. This is the point where I often fail. I just don’t have it in me to sew things up. I’m going to try to overcome that this time. Sheldon will accept nothing less.
