New Stash Stuff

I only bought 2 things at the New England Fiber Festival. They were the things I couldn’t imagine leaving there without. There were a few other things I really liked but I decided to just get the things I would be missing terribly if I didn’t get them. Above is a skein of Mad Color Fiber Arts Luster in color last friday night. I’m thinking of making some socks with it.

I have never bought a sock kit before and honestly have never had the urge until I saw this kit. It’s Holiday Yarn‘s Steampunkery Socks by Heatherly Walker. I can’t wait to cast these on. There is something about socks with buttons that makes heart sing.

Beth brought me yarny gifts! She always gives me things I have never seen before. First up is a skein of Tess’ Designer Yarns. It’s so soft and so pretty.

This is a skein of Unplanned Peacock Studio Diva sock in snakeroot. It’s gorgeous and it has cashmere! I see super soft socks in my future.

For now these skeins will wait while I knit the Cassidy sweater and the socks for N. You wouldn’t believe how loudly this new yarn is calling to me.
