WIP Wednesday: It’s Only Wednesday Edition

Thank you so much for your kind thoughts about Picasso. He was a tiny guy with a big heart. We’re going to miss him.

In the life goes on category, N went trick or treating Halloween evening. Here he is in his ninja pose standing in my mother’s kitchen. (Notice how clean and well decorated it is. All her dishes match too. I do not understand this way of living.) N had a great time trick or treating with his best buddy J. They chased J’s little sister from house to house. She was on a mission. N slept great that night.

But this is what you’re here for. Look grass with frost! The snow has melted for the most part. The first sleeve is in progress. This is Cassidy knit in Ella Rae classic in color 133 brick. I am still holding my breath and waiting for something bad to happen. This sweater is knitting up so easily. At some point I’m bound to discover that I knit the wrong size or that m*ths have eaten the back. I have never had a sweater progress so well. I’m loving it.

In the something good has to happen after all that bad category, Beth and Pearl are arriving on Friday. I have been beside myself with excitement for weeks. There is still a lot of prep work like grocery shopping and house cleaning but knowing they’ll be here in 2 short days will make all that go quickly. We have plans for yarn shopping and letterboxing and eating seafood until we pop. I might not post for a few days while they’re here but I’ll tell you all about our shenanigans at some point.

Sorry to hear about your puppy. But I love the ninja costume. I dressed up as a ninja when I was 5? Mom had to cut holes in the hood so my pigtails could poke through. My weapon of choice was cuteness, apparently.

That costume is awesome! I’m amazed that even though we’ve had snow/frost here somehow my flowers in my front yard are insisting on holding on just a bit longer! Beautiful color on the sweater, it looks great so far! Here’s hoping it continues to knit up smoothly 🙂

Fingers, toes, and eyes crossed the sweater makes it to the end with no drips, runs or errors. Of course, that means that I won’t be able to knit, but sacrifice for the greater good is necessary sometimes. LOL

Ninja’s costumes where popular this year, I saw about 5 when I was handing out candy most of them where girls.

I hope your sweater knits up nicely.
