Whatever Keeps You Knitting

I haven’t felt the uncontrollable urge to knit this past week. Usually I am itching to pull out my knitting. It could be because I haven’t been doing a lot of the usual distasteful things like cleaning, laundry and cooking. Mostly I’ve been distracted with shopping, driving and waiting. So when I finally sat down the other night I was pleased to see something new on TV to keep my mind busy while I knit on the current sock.

Death Wish Movers is a new show on the Travel Channel. Watching a TV show about a moving company that specializes in pianos and other large items wouldn’t normally attract my attention but this particular moving company is local and I have seen the trucks when driving around Boston. I found the show to be surprisingly compelling. The personalities are interesting and entertaining. The husband is always concerned when Bostonians are given the spotlight because in the past (think Whitey Bulger, The Big Dig and Boston Rob from Survivor) we haven’t had the best representation. I’ve set my DVR so I won’t miss the next episodes. It’s wicked good! But Beth, tell me, do we really talk like that?

The sock is looking good! Will have to see if we have the Travel Channel and check out the moving show. DH loves that type of show…like the ones that are about loggers, crocodile hunters, or repoing cars. πŸ™‚
