Thanks for the compliments on the socks! I really appreciate you all taking the time to comment.
After I finished the Trekking socks I knew I had to cast on some more socks right away since I have to take my mother to the hospital for some tests. I needed something easy so I could put them down and pick them up without too much though. I casted on the Oc-Toe-ber socks “Fiddlesticks” pattern in Tofutsies color 741. Everything went along fine until I got to the left twist. I don’t quite understand what to do. Here is what it says: Left Twist- skip first stitch and knit the second stitch in the back loop, then slip the skipped stitch purlwise onto right needle, then slip the knit stitch also. So I can read what it says but I really don’t understand: do I slip the knit stitch knitwise? But more importantly can I slip the skipped stitch before I knit the back loop of the second stitch? Obviously I’m missing something here. Can you explain it better than they do?
